Journey toward Victory!
March 28-April 4, 2010

Palm Sunday - March 28 at 8:00, 9:15, & 10:45 a.m.
Palm Sunday begins the Holy Week journey toward Easter,
celebrating Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, when the crowds welcomed Jesus with the waving of palm branches (Matthew 21:1-11). The worship service includes the distribution of palm branches to the congregation to
commemorate the celebration.

Maundy Thursday - April 1 at 7:00 p.m.
Maundy Thursday marks the agony of the night of Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples, including His betrayal by one of His closest friends, Judas, His prayer and arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane, and His disowning by another of His closest friends, Peter (Matthew 26:17-75). The worship service includes the celebration of Holy Communion in remembrance of Jesus and the words He spoke that night. (childcare available ages three and under)

Good Friday - April 2 at 7:00 p.m.
Good Friday is the day we remember the tragedy of Jesus’ crucifixion as a common criminal, and the death He suffered on the hill of Golgotha (Calvary) outside of Jerusalem to atone for the sins of all humanity (Matthew 27:32-66). The worship service of sorrows includes the powerful, hared experience of hammering nails into the cross, in recognition of both our role in Jesus’ death, and His work in removing our sin. (childcare available for all ages)

Come celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection - Victory!

For our Elementary Aged Children there will be an Easter Egg-stravaganza during 9:15 and 10:45 Sunday School, join us for a special Easter lesson and an Egg Hunt!
